Happy May! When I saw the Makeup 4 the Weekend challenge on PaperMakeup, the fabric in the apron reminded me of some DP I have called Graceful Circles by My Minds Eye. Doesn't the apron look like this paper? I tried paper piecing and it worked pretty well for the first time I tried it.
Granted, I used the sailboat in the "Sailing By" set by PaperMakeup Stamps and the shapes were pretty simple but I like to start easy! I cut out my image and my sentiment with my Spellbinders ovals and chalked around the edges with Prussian Blue from Cats Eye. The little piece of twine was stolen from my hubby's "junk" table in the garage. I hope everyone has a great day!
